A Warmed Apt: “Real World Shanghai”

A SUPER REWIND back to the top of September. We hosted a little gathering of folks to bless our new home in Puxi aka “Manhattan” side of Shanghai. Here are some flicks…
Our street (front side); pretty tame and clean:
A few doors down, on our street is the Shanghai SPARETIME University… perhaps where I’ll get my Masters! HA!

Backgates, which lead to the “alley.” Here, is “real Shanghai” where vegetables and all sorts of foods are laid out for sale everyday. CHEAP eats and PLENTY of stares!!
Now, meet the hosts…. “Three strangers picked to live in a house……”
And our guests for the evening….
We took a bit of precaution with our lovely white couch via use of a red throw/cloth thingy…and good thing we did too, because we did have a minor spillage incident!!

Mimsy- you look so pretty and youthful in the hostess pic! did u cut your hair? or is it just in a ponytail? but looking good!!! so jealous at all you are doing.

no, my hair isn’t cut. i’m actually afraid to get it cut here, as you can imagine why.. LOL
